Peace Words Project is a small private project and one of anti-Iraqi war
movements in Japan.
We have been against sending Japanese troops, the Japan Self-Defense Forces, to Iraq.
We used to display boards lined up 20 to 40m long every weekend for one and half years at busy bridge next to JR Osaka station, the biggest railroad station in Western Japan, and three famous department stores.
Now we usually introduce anti-Iraqi war related events in Japan and U.S. at our web site and just now begin to run new site - "Vote Peace on 9.11" which is for national election on Sept. 11th.
We are interested in U.S. and U.K. based anti-Iraqi war groups, because
they have an advanced skills and ideas compared with most of Japanese groups.
The man who is founded and directed Peace Words Project is a member of EG Peace is artists group for anti-war and anti-revision of Article 9 of the Constitution and also a member of Peace Not War Japan is an initiative that collects modern Japanese pro-peace/anti-war music.
Although PNWJ is affiliated to Peace Not War (UK), we are a separate, Japan-based group.
*Exite auto translator is usuful. It's free and cope with Japanese to English, Chinese, Korean and vice versa.
